Quid Facere (Latin for ‘What to Do’ and pronounced ‘kwid-fuh-cheer-ay’) is a space for showing off what’s going on in cities, towns and regions around the world.
Built for visitors as well as locals, we aim to make it easy to find out what’s happening in the place you are in – or are going to – and provide direct links to sites, or to those in the know.
Born from a desire to know more, see more, do more and share more. And to not miss out!
PS: This is a work-in-progress space that we are adding to all the time. Feel free to let us know what we’re missing! hi@quidfacere.com
How to use Quid Facere
While we work on developing personal accounts that will enable you to save items and create your own itineraries, we suggest you browse and save favourites to your own maps platform. From there you can create your own walks or itineraries, with options to pop in and out of while you’re at it.
Travel is personal – which is why this is not a review site, and wherever possible we are pointing you straight back to the source to let the people and places speak for themselves.
You might be the person who wants to visit every museum in Paris (good luck with that), or every design store in New York (likewise), and just want to know what else might take your fancy between them. Or you might plan your trip around a festival, event or exhibition, and want to know what else is on at the time. Or you might have a few free hours and just want some inspiration for making the most of them.
Quid Facere’s aim is to be a resource for you to come back to, take a quick scroll to find the thing you wanted to remember – or didn’t know you were looking for – and not lose it.
